जापान दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के बाद सबसे भीषण मंदी से जूझ रहा

ग्लोबल मंदी ने अमेरिका समेत सभी अमीर मुल्कों की हालत पतली कर दी है। इनमें शामिल एशिया का एकमात्र देश जापान दूसरे विश्वयुद्ध के बाद सबसे भीषण मंदी से जूझ रहा है। इस देश में रोजगार और उत्पादन दोनों ही मोर्चो पर मुश्किलें बढ़ती जा रही हैं।

एक सर्वे के मुताबिक जापान में अक्टूबर, 08 से मार्च 09 तक मंदी को देखते हुए उत्पादन क्षेत्र के एक लाख 58 हजार कर्मियों की नौकरी छिन जाने का अनुमान है। साथ ही यहां 6 माह के अंदर रोजगार में 26.9 फीसदी की कमी आई है। इसके चलते देश में रोजगार की स्थिति पांच वर्षो के निचले स्तर पर आ गई है। यहां पिछले माह औद्योगिक उत्पादन में भी 10 फीसदी की भारी गिरावट आई है। घरेलू खर्चो में भी 5.9 फीसदी की कमी आ चुकी है। हालात इतने खराब हैं कि इसके अगले साल से पहले मंदी से निकलने की संभावना नहीं है।
