यहाँ अमेरिका में भाई लोगों ने संभावित राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा के केन्याई चाचा और चाची को ढ़ूँढ़ निकाला है जो बोस्टन में मामूली परिस्थितियों में रहते हैं। मीडिया ने लिखा है कि एक तरफ, व्हाइट हाउस में कदम रखने के अमेरिकन सपने का संस्करण रहता है, लेकिन कुछ ही मील दूर दक्षिण बोस्टन में झोपड़पट्टी में सार्वजनिक आवास संपदा पर, एक विषम अमेरिकी कहानी है।
Barack Obama has lived one version of the American Dream that has taken him to the steps of the White House. But a few miles from where the Democratic presidential candidate studied at Harvard, his Kenyan aunt and uncle, immigrants living in modest circumstances in Boston, have a contrasting American story.
Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.
